Bracket Contest Social Media Rules

  1. The Nonprofit Organizations were chosen based on who has a fund with the Brown County Community Foundation.
  2. Nonprofit Organizations will compete in a bracket to win $250 award. The award will be added to the Nonprofit Organization’s fund.
  3. Nonprofit Organizations were paired randomly in the first round using Excel.
  4. Two Nonprofit Organizations will compete against each other for the most “votes” to move on to the next round.
  5. One Nonprofit Organization will have the “Like” button as its voting method. The other will have the “Love” button as its voting method.  The Nonprofit Organization with the most votes will move to the next round.
  6. Each competition will last for 24 hours. At the end of the 24 hours, the post will no longer show up on the BCCF Facebook timeline.
  7. There will be 5 rounds in the bracket. One competition per day for the month.  The winner will be announced on April 2nd.
  8. Nonprofit Organizations will be notified prior to the date of their competition so they can encourage their supporters to vote for them.
  9. All posts, votes and winners will be selected from the Brown County Community Foundation’s Facebook page
  10. Votes cast on shared posts will NOT be counted.
  11. Organizations are only eligible to win one Social Media Contest in 2018.
  12. All decisions made by the Brown County Community Foundation will be final.  All entries, including photos, become the sole property of the Foundation for use by the Foundation in its sole and absolute discretion (except as prohibited by applicable law) and will not be returned.
