Region 8 Arts Partner

The Indiana Arts Commission (IAC) is a state agency funded by the General Assembly and the National Endowment for the Arts. BCCF is the 

Regional Arts Partner for Region 8 of the Indiana Arts Commission.  

 

Our charge is to work alongside the Commission to promote and expand participation in the arts for our region, which includes Brown, Morgan, Monroe, Owen, Greene, Martin, Lawrence, and Orange counties. This includes providing access to funding opportunities like the Regional Initiative Grants (Arts Project Support and Arts Organization Support).

IAC GRANTS

Arts Project Support (APS) grants provide funding to nonprofit organizations to support a specific part of the organization’s arts activities, such as a one-time event; a single production; an exhibition; an educational workshop; or a series of related arts activities such as art classes or training sessions.

Grant application is now open.  

Deadline: March 7, 2024, 11:59 p.m. EST
Grant Period: Fiscal Year 2025 or July 1, 2024 through June 30, 2025.

Accessing the Application

All applications must be completed within the Indiana Arts Commission’s Online Grant System .

If accessing the system for the first time, you must first create a profile.

 
Grant Information Workshops

Current grantees and new applicants are invited and encouraged to learn about the grant categories, the online grant system, application process, and changes for this year. Statewide virtual workshops are scheduled as follows:

Arts Organization Support  – Provides operating support for the ongoing artistic and administrative functions of eligible arts organizations that align with the Indiana Arts Commission’s Public Funding Imperatives.  AOS grants provide annual operating support for the ongoing artistic and administrative functions of eligible arts organizations that align with IAC funding priorities.The Arts Organization Support program is open every other year. The next available application will be for FY26 and available in January 2025. Those that were not funded for FY24 are welcome to apply to Arts Project Support in 2024 for funding in FY25. More information can be found here.
