Your program is important and worthy of media attention. Publicity and media coverage will help ensure the success of the funded project, your organization and the Brown County Community Foundation. To help you communicate the impact of your work, we have provided a Grantee Press Kit.
The Brown County Community Foundation is always interested in capturing the stories of our grantees. Compelling storytelling helps communicate to our donors the importance of supporting projects like yours. We often feature stories of our grantees in our marketing materials, including our newsletters and annual report. If you have a story that you would like to share, please contact Nina Greene, Brown County Community Foundation Grants and Scholarships Officer.
The following materials are intended for the use of the Brown County Community Foundation grantees and will help you get the recognition your project and organization deserve. Here are some suggested ways to announce your project’s grant award:

The Gaston Community Foundation is the leading steward of philanthropic giving by connecting donors with community needs to enhance the lives of present and future generations. Since inception, over 40 years ago, the nonprofit organization has invested more than $100 million in grants and scholarships. At its core, the Community Foundation is an organization created with gifts from generous people committed to local causes. For donors, the Foundation serves as a philanthropic advisor. For the community, the Foundation serves as a grant maker and a civic leader. Through the support of its donors and fundholders, the Foundation has been able to address some of the community’s most pressing needs, including hunger, housing and education. For more information, visit browncountygives.org.
The Brown County Community Foundation would like to hear how a grant from the Foundation helped your organization. If you would like to share your story of impact from a grant at the Foundation, please send a narrative to Sean Hildreth. Video stories are encouraged as well.
